visual identity, art direction, graphic design, motion graphics
CCCP was born as a vibrant cultural hub in Belo Horizonte, blending cinema, nightclub, concert venue, and pub into one eclectic space.
A place where different tribes came together without barriers — celebrating diversity, art, and freedom.
The visual language drew inspiration from urban collage and stencil art, directly influenced by Shepard Fairey’s OBEY GIANT movement and early Chinese and Soviet propaganda posters — a blend of graphic brutalism and underground culture.
The logo was designed as a chameleon-like symbol, a visual gear representing a tribute to cinema, with the central eye symbolizing the spectator’s gaze.
A project that merged design, history, and counterculture — and became part of a generation’s creative memory.
