The concept behind TVRVO emerged as a manifesto against mining exploitation in Minas Gerais, Brazil — where corporations extract the wealth of the land and return only the toxic silence of their waste.

The work is a direct critique of the Mariana Disaster (2015) — the largest environmental tragedy in Brazil’s history — when the Fundão dam, operated by Samarco, collapsed, destroying entire communities, contaminating the Paraopeba and Doce rivers, and taking 19 lives beneath the mud.

Being a band formed by five musicians from Belo Horizonte, the message wasn’t just political — it was deeply personal.

The cover features a real aerial photograph of a mining waste dam, captured by Marcílio Gazzinelli, turned into both symbol and scar.

Graphic design and production by André (@azucrinista), released by Burning London Records in April 2017.

A project that unites sound, art, and revolt — the noise of a land that still bleeds.
